In 2010, Professor Francis Kofi Ampeny Allotey, then President of the African Physical Society, warned us:

“Technology transfer only happens between equals.”

AfPS fought to make Africa an equal. Pushed for policy. Unified physics communities. Demanded 1% of GDP for science. Built when no one was looking.

We are the next chapter of that fight.
Quantum is not a detour — it’s the main road.
