Zero Hour: The Pan-African Quantum Challenge Launches Dec 1.
Monday Dec 1 @ 16:00 GMT, we officially launch Hack the Horizon ‘25.
This opening ceremony is the start of a 5-day intensive deployment to equip African talent with the skills to build the future.
The Launch Schedule:
🚀 MONDAY, DEC 1 (Global Kickoff):
We will unveil the Challenge Tracks, unlock the platform, define the mission objectives, and answer your questions live.
🎓 TUESDAY - FRIDAY (QWorld Bootcamp):
Daily hands-on workshops on quantum fundamentals, advanced concepts and hackathon best practices.
But to succeed, we need to widen the circle.
Looking at our registrations, we are calling for specific voices to enter the room before team formation on Friday:
👑 Women & Girls:
In Africa, we build together. We need your leadership in the room, from high school risers to industry veterans, to ensure we are innovating with the full strength of the continent.
The Context Creators:
We need Artists, Policymakers, Business Strategists, and SDG advocates. Quantum solutions cannot be innovative if they ignore context. We need your diverse perspectives to make the code relevant to real African challenges.
The Linguists:
We need more strong representation from our French, Arabic, and Swahili speakers. Do not let language be a barrier. Come into the room - you will be supported. We have mentors who speak your language and understand your context.
The Connectors:
The social glue. You organize teams and tell the story. We need your project management and narrative skills to turn raw code into real-world impact.

All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to “The Vault.” in Discord and across AQC channels.
